Casino Royale
Wednesday, November 29th, 2006Ouff went to see casino royale last night with Coal, Jim, Matt, Moss and Cesca =D.
So i thought id post a lil review.

Now as we all know we have a new Bond Daniel Craig seen here persperating looking very muscley and very a-typical of a bond. However the film wasnt very a-typical in its entirety for instance the usuall walk across and shoot intro was changed to some strange use of black and white intro about how he became a double 0 and also there was no Q now whether they had a problem with John Cleese i don’t know but there was definitly something lacking in that department.
In terms of general acting the new bond holds is own probably more as he is/was a succesful actor before he slung on the famous tux starring in such films as La4er Cake and Munich two of my favourite films. But to be honest in terms of watching him in long interuptable scenes all i could think was “When is he gonna tell us more bout this drug deal” (Mainly because his performences in the other films ive seen him in were so strong).
Right i suppose i better mention the action and special effects and stuff as it is a james bond film. Well in terms of special effects i couldnt see any… which is a good thing because there always is special effects and the fact i didnt notice there were any depicts that they were good. In terms of stunts ect. its nice to have have a nice new young bond… don’t get me wrong i loved pierce brosnan but his preformance in the last bond film die another day (action wise) was a little disapointing. So like all in all action was top notch. I’d also like to mention Sebastien Foucan (yeah google him now) if you have seen the film hes the black guy bond is chasing around at the start and he also is the parkour champion or something i just remember him from that jump britain documentery, thought that was nice.
All in all not my favourite bond doesnt really compare to goldeneye however in terms of judging it as a action adventure i would say it was damn fine. Yaps look i wrote a film review… where are we?
